Cream cheese glaze: Beat 3 oz cream cheese softened, 1 tbsp milk, 1.5 cups confectioners sugar. Spread as glaze on top while cake is warm.
Pumpkin spice glaze: 1.5 cup confectioners sugar, 1/4 cup water, 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice.
Beat sugar and water together, then add 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Spread on cake while cake is warm.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 15 oz canned pumpkin
- 3 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 pkg Duncan Hines yellow cake
Instructions
- Grease and flour bundt pan. In large bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs, pumpkin. Beat 1 min at highest speed. Add cake mix and pumpkin pie spice. Blend till moist. Beat 2 min at high speed. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 min until toothpick comes out clean. After ten minutes, remove from pan and place cake on cake plate.
- Frosting or glaze:

- Variation:
- Cupcakes and use your favorite vanilla buttercream frosting, but add pumpkin pie spice to taste to it. Mix well and spread on cupcakes.
